Moderated by Brian Ahier, Director of Standards and Government Affairs at Medicity – these Health IT experts highlighted the challenges and successes with the current Certification and Testing Programs. Further dialogue centered on the use, implementation and testing of the highly visible HL7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard. Several of the participants cited the AEGIS Developers Integration Lab (DIL) as an example of the right kind of interoperability testing platform needed by the industry.
