HIMSS-NCA‘s mission is to promote professional approaches to the development, operation, and improvement of healthcare information management systems that benefit the local healthcare community while working collaboratively with HIMSS National. AEGIS actively participates as Co-Chair of the HIMSS-NCA Programs Committee. Program events are held monthly with all revenue providing four scholarships for financial assistance and recognition to students who are pursuing health information or systems management degrees, and are interested in helping to shape the future of the profession. The next event, Federal Enterprise Architecture, will be held at the Key Bridge Marriott in Rosslyn, VA on February 21st.
