AEGIS President Michael Callihan will chair the Delivering Smart Healthcare roundtable discussion at CES Government 2019. CES Government is the premier annual world/US/state/local government + industry summit where C-level leaders come together to learn, discuss, and debate the most pressing emerging trends and challenges in technology and then to work together to propose ways ahead.
CES Government is the equivalent of the World Economic Forum (“Davos”) for government/industry collaboration.
CES Government is held in conjunction with CES, the world’s largest annual consumer electronics show, in Las Vegas, NV. The event is hosted by the Government Business Executive Forum (GBEF).
The distinguished panelists joining Mr. Callihan in this discussion will include:
- Dominic Cussatt, Deputy Chief Information Officer, Department of Veterans Affairs
- Karl Alvarez, Executive Officer, Office of the CIO, Department of Health and Human Services
- Sandeep Patel, Office of Open Innovation, Department of Health and Human Services
- Jaspal Sagoo, Chief Technology Officer, Centers for Disease Control
Consumer technologies are driving consumer expectations in delivery of vital services, and nowhere is this more evident than in health care delivery. This roundtable looks at many opportunities and challenges this presents in data management and service delivery across the health care spectrum – healthcare organizations, doctors, insurers, pharmacists, and payers in both public and private sectors, and the contribution AI and advanced analytics can make in fraud detection and more efficient service delivery.
Healthcare is a domain in which all of us are stakeholders. This discussion promises to be one of the many conversations of great consequence at CES Government 2019 and will form the basis for a healthcare-specific GBEF event later in the year.
